Position Summary

Calls out the numbers for a bingo game and verifies all Bingo winners. Operates equipment that randomly selects the numbers for Bingo.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for dealing effectively with the public and casino staff.
2. Responsible to check all bingo boards to make sure all numbers are functioning properly.
3. Responsible for ensuring that bingo balls utilized for the regular program, and the Bonanza game, are present and accounted for and having them verified by a customer, chosen at random.
4. Responsible for acquiring the jackpot accrual book.
5. Announcing the games in the order they are scheduled.
6. Ensure that House Rules are publicly announced prior to the beginning of the Regular Session.
7. Responsible for verifying balls called are in the correct slot and information is sent to electronic bingo machines.
8. Responsible for listening to customers yelling bingo and stopping the game.
9. Responsible for verifying the bingo winners by computer input of paper and or electronic serial numbers.
10. Responsible for logging winner payout amounts to be verified with paymaster records.
11. Responsible for directing clerks to customers who may need service.
12. Responsible for keeping accurate records on all jackpot amounts.
13. Responsible for maintaining accurate progressive jackpot amounts changed after each session if applicable, with correct jackpot amounts.
14. Responsible for nightly updating of jackpot information on the hotline recording.
15. Responsible for changing bingo balls daily to ensure good condition of balls is maintained.
16. Responsible for cleaning bingo balls with an alcohol solution once a month.
17. Responsible for cleaning Caller’s stand nightly.
18. Responsible for maintaining the security of bingo equipment.
19. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
20. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.

Education and Experience

Required:

1. High School Diploma, GED Certification or equivalent.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.

License/Certifications/Registrations

1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License
2. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.

Working Conditions Required:

1. Work is performed indoors.
2. Work hours subject to change with overtime work required.
3. Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.
4. Subject to hazards which may cause personal bodily harm including but not limited to: smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
5. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
6. Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
