Performs administrative and clerical duties in support of the Tribal Court.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Receives court filed complaints, petitions, and motions.
- Responsible for using the case management system to open, docket, and close cases based on judgement details.
- Provides customer service information by providing general procedural information without giving legal advice.
- Uses the case management system to open cases, make notations of file status, review documents for accuracy, and enters in case data.
- Scans documents into the Records Management electronic system.
- Receives revenues, enters into ledger accounts, and reconciles.
- Processes, maintains, and distributes documents, files, and case materials.
- Accurately disburses bond payments, prepares, and maintains bond reports.
- Prepares, proofreads, edits, and mails out documents such as notices and final orders.
- Maintains electronic receipts and ensures court fees are; accurately assessed, paid, receipted, and correctly recorded in the case management system.
- Certifies and prepares court recordings and meeting minutes for court hearings.
- Ensures the office, courtrooms, and equipment are operational.
- Under general supervision, will perform clerical and technical duties involved in case processing, file maintenance, and the conduct of the clerical business of the court.
- Answers phone calls, addressing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintains office supplies and equipment.
- Files documents in accordance with administrative procedures and legal requirements.
- Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
- Builds a professional relationship with internal/external contacts in an approachable and attentive manner.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.

- Work is performed in an office setting.
- Required to operate a Tribal vehicle to attend meetings, conferences, etc.
- Work is performed during the week; some weekend work required.
