Summary:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Player Development Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all facets of the Player Development Department, with direct oversight of Casino Hosts/Hostesses, Executive Casino Hosts/Hostesses, the Player Development Supervisor, and the National Casino Marketing Coordinator. This role is critical to achieving and surpassing annual goals in visitation, play, and guest spend across both gaming and non-gaming offerings. The Player Development Manager ensures the successful execution of VIP events, cultivates high-value guest relationships, and oversees programs that engage Junket Player Representatives and Bus Program Coordinators to drive regional and national traffic. The manager works cross-departmentally to enhance the guest experience and continuously evolves strategic plans to strengthen brand loyalty, increase revenue, and promote a culture of excellence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: 

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

2. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal education. 

ESSENTIAL: 

1. All casino employees will be subject to the Criminal and Background restrictions of the Ho-Chunk Nation. 

2. Must be bondable and be able to hold a gaming license through employment. 

3. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and, at a minimum, liability auto insurance. 

4. No tipping or gratuity will be permitted for this position. 

EXPERIENCE: 

To be eligible for this position, you must have two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or management role and meet one of the following requirements, or a combination of them: 

1. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the gaming industry with experience in front-of-the-house casino operations, table games, slot operations, casino marketing, and positions such as Casino Host, VIP Casino Host, or Executive Casino Host. 

2. Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in related non-gaming fields such as marketing, customer service, sales, promotions, public relations, or hospitality.
