Location: Pala, CA

Monitor casino and associated areas via CCTV and direct observation to insure compliance with laws, regulations, policy and procedures. Monitors and directs surveillance operators on assigned shift and carries out directives as assigned.

  • Must have at least 1 year Supervisory experience in Gaming.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have previous Surveillance experience and or Gaming experience.
  • Must have knowledge of casino games and Surveillance room equipment.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of casino procedures and gaming regulations.
  • Must have excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Must have good Leadership capabilities and set an example to Team Members.
  • Must have the ability to teach and train Surveillance operators.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Special surveillance – CCTV intensive dedication, close observation of a target game, Team Member or patron.
  • Observation dedicated to a game or a person, which is compared to written documentation.
  • Monitors Table Games, Slots, Casino Cage, Soft Count, Hard Count, Change Booths, change persons, and all Team Members on/or adjunct to casino floor. Monitors all areas of the property, both indoor & outdoor.
  • Insures compliance with applicable procedures, Title 31 policy.
  • Maintains familiarity with Gaming Commission statues, Pala Casino policies and all appropriate department procedures.
  • Testifies in procedures stated above as required.
  • Understands and operates all surveillance CCTV equipment, videotape recordings, camera switching, programming equipment, and use of all computer equipment.
  • Oversee and assist in the training and management of surveillance operators.
  • Maintains confidentiality within the established guidelines.
  • Oversees the daily operation of his or her assigned shift and has the initiative to handle all situations.
  • Must maintain professionalism in carrying out directives as set forth.
  • Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
