Summary:

Position Overview

Performance Bonus Eligible Position (Quarterly).

The Executive Casino Host/Hostess is a vital component of the Player Development Team and the overall operational success of the Casino Marketing Team. The role of an Executive Casino Host/Hostess involves managing a group of around four hundred high-value VIP players for slots and table games. This includes promoting the brand, increasing customer loyalty, and driving the frequency and volume of play of all players in their book. They are required to contact their coded players regularly through various modes of communication such as text messages, emails, phone calls, and mail to invite and promote upcoming events and become the primary point of contact for their coded book of players. Additionally, they assist with room and dinner reservations, and ticket bookings for events and shows.

The Executive Casino Host/Hostess is an essential part of the team that strives to provide customers with memorable gaming and non-gaming experiences while they visit Ho-Chunk Gaming properties. Meeting these objectives will enhance brand loyalty, increase player frequency of visits, lengthen playtime, and generate more revenue from gaming and non-gaming offers. They also assist the Casino Marketing Department with promotions and special events, both on and off the property. Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external guests is their top priority.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION:

1. High school diploma or equivalent diploma required.

2. Two (2) years’ of post-secondary education or higher is preferred.

ESSENTIAL:

1. All casino employees will be subject to the Criminal and Background restrictions of the

Ho-Chunk Nation.

2. Must be bondable and be able to hold a gaming license through employment.

3. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and, at a minimum, liability auto insurance.

4. No tipping or gratuity will be permitted for this position.

EXPERIENCE:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet one of the following requirements, or a combination of them:

1. Preferred qualifications for this job include a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the gaming industry with a focus on front of the house, table operations, slots operations, casino marketing, Casino Host, VIP Casino Host, or Executive Casino Host.

2. Candidates should have at least three (3) years of experience in non-gaming industry-related fields such as marketing, customer service, sales, promotions, public relations, or hospitality industry.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit

Situated on a 32-acre site at the southeast corner of Willowbrook and Colley Roads in Beloit, Wisconsin, the upcoming Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit is set to become one of the largest entertainment developments in the region.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit will be a $705 million destination casino, within the Ho-Chunk Gaming division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., a leading regional employer and prominent developer of real estate and other capital projects in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. The Ho-Chunk Nation’s Gaming Corporation oversees the management of its gaming enterprises.

The Beloit project will expand the Nation’s Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin brand, which currently operates six casinos across the state. The new property will feature more than 1,500 slot machines, 40 table games, a 312-room hotel with a roof top lounge, multiple dining and beverage venues, a 2,000-seat convention center which will host both conferences and concerts, and parking facilities.

Construction began in October 2024, with the casino set to open in September 2026 and the hotel and convention center following a year later. The project represents a major economic development initiative for the federally recognized Ho-Chunk Nation, which has approximately 7,800 citizens and trust lands across 14 Wisconsin counties.
