Provides friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting their baggage from the Bell Desk to their room or vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.
- Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.
- Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles, banquet storage room by hand or using baggage carts.
- Arrange for shipments of baggage, express mail, and parcels by providing weighing and billing services.
- Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs.
- Compute and complete charge slips for services rendered and maintain records.
- Deliver messages and room service orders and run errands for guests.
- Explain the operation of room features such as locks, ventilation systems, and televisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must attend and complete are required departmental training.
- Builds professional relationships with guests while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.

Education and Experience |
|
Required:
- One (1) year of experience in customer service.
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.

License/Certifications/Registrations |
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.

List Working Conditions Required: |
The worker is subject to:
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
- Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside
- Noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level.
- Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
