Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the supervision of maintenance personnel to ensure proper
maintenance and repair of all facilities. This includes project management, immediate
operational and safety concerns and maintaining preventative maintenance programs. Performs
preventative maintenance work to keep equipment in peak operating condition. Duties may
involve water treatment work. Oversee all the HVAC related systems and RTU's.


Essential Functions:
1) Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations
and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
2) Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding
to guest and team member concerns and questions.
3) Supervise day-to-day activities of team members to include performance reviews, rewards,
discipline, time and attendance, scheduling, shift bids, training, plan work, assign work,
direct work, address complaints and resolve issues.
4) Respond to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
5) Use standardized procedures and practice excellent communication with other staff to ensure
operation with in defined budget.
6) Participate in objective plan setting and plan development.
7) Monitor the use inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment and initiates
reordering when necessary.
8) Responsible for supervising HVAC Mechanic, Refrigeration Specialists and other non-trade
maintenance to maintain all HVAC system and related kitchen equipment of the Casino
property.
9) Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations to building manager for improving
facility operations and solving all maintenance related problems.
10) Monitor maintenance and operation equipment and systems consistently to minimize
unplanned downtime; anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify
opportunities for improvement.
11) Initiate and carry out projects that improve overall property efficiency and/or reduce
operating costs.
12) Assist with planning and implementing building improvements and expansions.

13) Perform servicing, testing, inspections and repairs on a variety of equipment including
HVAC components, electrical equipment, air compressors, cooling towers, hot and cold
loops, humidifiers, boilers and chillers.
14) Change belts and filters, grease motors, visually check compressors, pumps, other HVAC
equipment and building systems. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts
of machinery.
15) Clean air handling units, check fan/blower cfm, check temperature of bearings, test motors
for amperage, voltage and rpms.
16) Test emergency generators; inspect components for abnormal wear, check battery level, fuel
level, oil level and temperature, run hours, amps, volts and HZ on each phase, battery charger
reading and block heater.
17) May diagnose and remedy heating and cooling problems and malfunctions; troubleshoot
supply line and drain problems; use power auger to clear lines.
18) Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
19) Use precision testing equipment to perform preventative maintenance activities.
20) Report all injuries, incidents and faulty equipment immediately to the Building Manager.
21) Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
22) Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
23) Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
24) Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31
requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money
Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.

Minimum Requirements to Qualifications:
1) Must have High School Diploma or GED.
2) Minimum three (3) years of progressive building maintenance including HVAC experience.
3) HVAC License required.
4) Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and
maintenance.
5) Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and patterns of use.
6) Knowledge of refrigerant systems, expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and
other component parts.
7) Working knowledge of evacuation and control systems.
8) Knowledge of building operations and control systems.
9) Knowledge of UPS Systems and backup generators.

10) Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Spanish or other language
skills a plus.

Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American
preference is observed.

Physical Demands:
1) While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand,
sit, walk, push, pull, climb and bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk
and listen on a regular basis.
2) The team member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.
3) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral
vision and depth perception.
4) The team member must be able to communicate effectively in person or using
telecommunications equipment.
5) The team member must have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a
keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone and calculator.
6) Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.


Work Environment:
1) Outside premises, casino floor and normal office setting.

2) Frequent walking and standing in a smoke filled environment and frequent contact with the
general public.
3) Temperature controlled environment with varying noise levels. May be exposed to high
levels of noise throughout the day.
4) May be exposed to inclement weather and extreme weather conditions.
5) Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required including nights, weekends and
holidays.
6) Must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours under stressful conditions.
7) May be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests
and extremely irate staff members.
8) May be exposed to various types of lighting including, but not limited to: artificial
fluorescent lights, flashing lights, strobe lights, multiple colored lights, etc.
9) Travel may be required to perform one or more essential functions of this position.


Conditions of Employment:
1) Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful
completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license. Responsible to
keep all documents current and valid at all times.
2) Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
3) Must be at least 18 years of age.
4) Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
5) Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulations
set within KLEC.
