Job Summary:
The Entertainment Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of all
entertainment-related events at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel. This role ensures smooth
operations for concerts, live performances, special events, and appearances - enhancing the
overall guest experience, and supporting the property's entertainment and marketing objectives.
The position requires strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills, with
a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
1) Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal, other laws, KTTT Gaming
Regulations, and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
2) Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding
to guest and team member concerns and questions.
3) Assist in the development and execution of the annual entertainment calendar in coordination
with the Marketing leadership.
4) Assist in talent research and recommendations that align with target demographics and brand
image.
5) Gather post-event feedback, and assist in creating post-show reports, including attendance,
expenses, and ROI summaries.
6) Serve as a primary point of contact for artist representatives, agents, production crews, and
internal departments before, during, and after events.
7) Coordinate all entertainment logistics including stage setup, sound checks, dressing room
arrangements, hospitality riders, transportation, and security requirements.
8) Support negotiation and processing of entertainment contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and
post-event settlements.
9) Process requisitions and manage payment for entertainment and special events and ensure
that payments are made timely and per contract obligations.
10) Work closely with the Marketing team to promote entertainment events across print, digital,
social media, and on-property channels.
11) Operates complex lighting and sound systems; disc jockey (DJ) sound system; and public
access (PA) systems.
12) Record speech, music, or other sounds; keep logs of recordings and use sound mixing boards
to mix and edit music, voice, and sound effect.
13) Process inventories and is responsible for the accountability of all material and equipment
used for events.
14) Manage and maintain proper use and safeguard of all material and equipment.
15) Coordinate internal communication between departments (Security, F&B, Facilities, IT, and
Hotel) to ensure seamless event execution.
16) Promote the casino and act in a professional and courteous manner.
17) Oversee day-of-show operations to ensure adherence to contracts and safety standards; meet
with producers and performers to determine the desired sound for each performance; monitor
and report any equipment in need of repair; and assist with setting up and testing recording
and sound equipment to ensure optimal quality.
18) Manage audio levels and sound quality during live events; perform sound checks to ensure
balanced acoustics; and assist with the setup and takedown of audio and production
equipment as needed.
19) Demonstrates and promote KLECH core values and EGET skills.
20) Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
21) Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.

Minimum Requirements to Qualifications:
1) Must have High School Diploma or GED.
2) Two (2) years' experience operating complex lighting and sound systems, required.
3) Two (2) years' experience operating DJ sound systems, required.
4) Two (2) years' experience operating PA systems, required.
5) Two (2) years' experience in related fields of public relations, marketing, advertising, guest
service, travel industry, casino, preferred.
6) Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Bi-lingual in English and
Spanish, preferred.
Other Criteria:
Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American
preference is observed

Physical Demands:
1) While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand,
sit, walk, push, pull, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on
a regular basis.
2) The team member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.
3) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral
vision, and depth perception.
4) The team member must be able to communicate effectively in person or using
telecommunications equipment.
5) The team member must have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a
keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone, and calculator.
6) Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
