The opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a full-time HR Specialist to join our team at our global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and program support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, employee communications, benefits-related coordination, training follow-up, and basic employee relations support. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $62,354 – $73,400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Support team member engagement initiatives and corporate events by coordinating logistics, communications, and participation tracking 
  • Maintain and update HR communications, onboarding materials, and job descriptions while coordinating resumes and new hire documentation 
  • Coordinate benefits administration activities, including open enrollment communications, reminders, and ACA tracking support 
  • Assist with accommodations processes by managing intake documentation and routing requests appropriately 
  • Manage HR case intake, respond to routine employee inquiries, and escalate issues as needed while maintaining confidentiality 
  • Track training completion and follow up with team members and managers to ensure compliance 
  • Coordinate offboarding and employee support activities, including exit logistics, facilities requests, and employee relations documentation 

More about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources  
  • Experience with employee engagement, benefits administration, and ADA 
  • I-9 and compliance knowledge
