Job DetailsJob Location: Albuquerque, NM 87113Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $16.82 - $21.03 HourlyJob Shift: GraveyardJob Category: Resort Position Summary The Night Auditor will balance and post all daily paperwork and charges for the hotel in a timely and efficient manner. The incumbent will greet and register guests, provide prompt and courteous service, and close out guest accounts upon completion of stay. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Verifies and balances all accounts posting entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during day. Performs a wide range of clerical and service duties such as computer data entry and supporting Front desk clerks as needed. Verifies and reconciles the accuracy of all cashier's Daily Activity Reports, compiling the day's shift reports into a Consolidated Daily Activity Report from Property Management System (PMS) computerized reports. Responsible for running night audit reports plus all required property management system reports, generating and maintaining any required or requested reports. May function as a Front Desk Clerk, responsible for taking room reservations and cancellations, checking guests in and out, and providing information regarding activities, service charges, room availability, etc., on an as needed basis. Provides courteous, cheerful service and assistance to guests to ensure their comfort and well-being. Accepts payments and accounts for change fund and money received by following established cash handling procedures. Maintains strict control and accountability of cash funds on hand, cash received and accurate accounting for charges. Ensures guests are informed of charges relating to their stay on property. Builds a professional relationship with all team members and internal/external contact while supporting a strong collaborative work environment. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia. Additional Responsibilities Perform other job-related duties as assigned. A quality guest service experience is an essential component for all Team members working at the Pueblo of Sandia particularly those positions assigned to work in all public areas. Team members in this capacity: Serves as the initial point of contact for guest inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner. Reflects a sense of trust, comfort and understanding by demonstrating empathy for guests when problems occur. Resolves all issues in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations. Possesses knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered. Builds relationships with guests based upon respect, and confidence while maintaining a friendly, and approachable demeanor. Key Performance Indicators This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to effectively and consistently deal with customers, in a courteous and friendly manner and register guests accurately and efficiently. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers to provide excellent guest service in accordance with company standards. Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Skills in bookkeeping and auditing. General knowledge and skills of hotel/motel operations including reservation systems, property management systems, occupancy utilization, procedures, and general business practices. Ability to read, understand, and implement oral and written instructions. Ability to meet and communicate with the public. Ability to operate a multi-line phone system. Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Must be 21 years of age One (1) Year experience in cash handling, reconciliation, or accounting/auditing High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience. License/Certifications/Registrations Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles. (up to 10 lbs.) Pulling Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion. (Up to 10 lbs.) Pushing Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. (Up to 10 lbs.) Reaching Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Seeing The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye. Walking Job requirements include, in the performance of duties, walking throughout the work area, on various work surfaces throughout internal or external locations. Seeing The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye. Sitting Particularly for sustained periods of time. Standing Particularly for sustained periods of time. Stooping Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
