First Light Resort & Casino

First Light Resort & Casino is planned to begin construction by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. It will be a $1 billion destination resort casino in the City of Taunton in Southeastern Massachusetts. The location is 40 miles south of Boston and 20 miles northeast of Providence, RI. 

The future full-scale First Light Casino will feature Class III Vegas-style gambling with house-banked jackpots, in a 150,000 sq. ft casino with 3,000 slots, 150 table games, and 40 poker tables. There will also be a hotel wth two 12-story towers and 300 rooms each, an event center and indoor/outdoor water park.

Players will enjoy cutting-edge slot machines, live blackjack, poker, and roulette, high-stakes table games, gourmet dining, vibrant nightlife, and world-class entertainment and events.

The First Light Welcome Center is the temporary casino located at 1 O'Connell Way, East Taunton, MA 02718. It features 250 slot machines and displays Mashpee Wampanoag tribal art and culture. It is open 7 days per week with extended hours from 10 AM – 2 AM daily.
