Summary
Supports the planning, scheduling, coordination, and tracking of construction and capital improvement projects across Tribal enterprises. Assists the Construction Manager in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and budget parameters. This position focuses on project planning, scheduling, documentation, and coordination and does not have direct supervisory responsibility.

- Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.

- Continually coach and support Team Members to ensure they have the skills, tools and resources to successfully complete their jobs, including the delivering of the Five Star Experience expectations.
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure accurate project timelines.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities to ensure timely completion.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, project documentation, bid packages, and related construction materials.
- Monitor construction progress and report variances in schedule, scope, or performance.
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, change documentation, and correspondence.
- Support project budget tracking by reviewing invoices, change orders, and contractor documentation.
- Assist in vendor coordination and communication to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Conduct site visits as needed to verify project progress and alignment with approved plans and specifications.
- Identify potential risks or delays and communicate findings to the Construction Manager.
- Support long-range planning initiatives, facility assessments, and capital planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, federal, and state regulations, including MICS and TICS requirements.
- Maintain excellent communications with Directors, Supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, scheduling software advancements, and best practices in construction planning.
- Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and assist them as required.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
May provide project-related coordination guidance to contractors or vendors as assigned.
Qualifications
Education And Experience (Must Be Documented)
- High School Diploma (or GED) required.
- Associate’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, project coordination, or related field.
- Experience working in commercial, hospitality, gaming, or tribal enterprise environments preferred.
Certification, Licenses And Any Additional Requirements
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) preferred.
- OSHA safety certification is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass periodic random drug screens.
- Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
- Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
- Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

The employee is occasionally required use repetitive movements to complete tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee may be occasionally required to work in low light conditions, and may be exposed to loud noise for extended periods.

- Multiple locations.
- Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours.
- Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.
- Must be available to work weekend and holidays.
- Some enterprises are gaming facilities.
- Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment.
- Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.
