Summary:

Position Overview

The Surveillance Investigator is responsible for the integrity of tribal gaming and Ho-Chunk Nation assets. They shall investigate deviations related to the Gaming Ordinance, Internal Control Manual, Minimum Internal Control standards and Standard Operating Procedures. The Surveillance Investigator regularly spends his or her time at a workstation watching live and recorded video, reviewing daily logs and reports, creating case files, conducting interviews/interrogations, data-mining, answering phones, and completing reports in an office environment. In addition to completing reports and conducting interviews/interrogations, the Surveillance Investigator will complete other duties set forth by the Surveillance Director.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION:

1.High School diploma or equivalent.

2.Any applicable certifications as it relates to investigations.

ESSENTIAL:

1.All casino employees will be subject to the Criminal and Background restrictions of the

Ho-Chunk Nation.

2.Must be able to obtain a gaming license.

3.Possession of working vehicle, valid driver’s license and proper insurance.

EXPERIENCE:

1.Three (3) years of surveillance related experience.

2.Must have a minimum of one (1) year of gaming experience.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit

Situated on a 32-acre site at the southeast corner of Willowbrook and Colley Roads in Beloit, Wisconsin, the upcoming Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit is set to become one of the largest entertainment developments in the region.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit will be a $705 million destination casino, within the Ho-Chunk Gaming division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., a leading regional employer and prominent developer of real estate and other capital projects in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. The Ho-Chunk Nation’s Gaming Corporation oversees the management of its gaming enterprises.

The Beloit project will expand the Nation’s Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin brand, which currently operates six casinos across the state. The new property will feature more than 1,500 slot machines, 40 table games, a 312-room hotel with a roof top lounge, multiple dining and beverage venues, a 2,000-seat convention center which will host both conferences and concerts, and parking facilities.

Construction began in October 2024, with the casino set to open in September 2026 and the hotel and convention center following a year later. The project represents a major economic development initiative for the federally recognized Ho-Chunk Nation, which has approximately 7,800 citizens and trust lands across 14 Wisconsin counties.
