Job Overview: Applies high guest service standards to all interactions with guests. Demonstrates the SMSC GE values at all times. Process checks and credit/debit card transactions, redeems chips, provides change and redeems tickets and coupons to guests in compliance with all pertinent policies, procedures, and regulations. Issues cash to Slot and Table Game team members for jackpots. Records and reports all regulatory Title 31 related activity. Performs Bingo Paymaster duties as assigned. Works with a high-volume of currency which requires adhering to heavy regulations of gaming compliance policies and procedures. Trains new team members.
Elevate & Thrive: Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all assets are secured during the shift: This includes maintaining locked drawers, placing non-cash equivalents in drawers, and utilizing provided equipment properly to assists in avoiding variances.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate cash levels by regularly exchanging cash equivalents with the banking center.
- Cage guest services: Ability to interact with a diverse group of guests.
- Maintain professionalism during high business volumes and when dealing with difficult guest situations.
- Regularly completes large monetary transactions including TITO/chip redemptions, coupons, and jackpot payouts for guests.
- Makes change for guests.
- Accurately cashes checks and credit/debit card advances and establishes new players accounts for guests.
- Verifies identification of guest to assist in avoiding fraudulent activity.
- Processes jackpot payouts: Ensures that cash payout is accurate.
- Tracks cash-in and cash-out transactions for Title 31 (for Federal cash transaction reporting) for guests on an individual basis.
- Acts in accordance to regulatory compliance through the monitoring and reporting of Title 31.
- Reports suspicious activity in accordance with Title 31.
- Works with a high volume of currency in a heavily regulated environment.
- Gives directions to guests and explains promotions and events occurring around the property.
- Fills in for main bank cashier and supervisor positions.
- Provides training for new cashiers.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Three months cash handling and guest service experience.
- Basic 10-key and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to stand for an 8(+) hour shift
