Responsibilities
- Assist the HR team with the training and development of Delaware North team members.
- Support the team with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
- Prepare pre-employment paperwork and initiate the new hire process for incoming team members.
- Maintain employee training records and ensure team members receive refresher training when required.
- Follow compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Mnimum of one (1) year in an HR role required; Bachelor's Degree in HR may be considered in lieu of work experience.
- Minimum of an intermediate level in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, decision-making and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Working knowledge of HR and employment laws is a plus.
