Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sweeps, scrubs, vacuums, sanitizes and mops surfaces including floors throughout the facility (including hallways). Sanitizes restrooms, public and non-public areas multiple times during shift.
  • Cleans carpets, air vents, windows, glass surfaces, trash cans, ash trays, and interior walls.
  • Sweeps around chairs, tables and games. Sanitizes all touch points throughout facility.
  • Cleans and sanitizes chairs, hand rails, doors, tables and games throughout the facility.
  • Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public and non-public areas.
  • Operates electric-powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.
  • Notifies management concerning need for repairs or deep cleaning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Tr AI Ning, And Experience
  • GED or High School diploma or up to 1 month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid gaming license. (Company will provide application)

Derby City Gaming is located on Poplar Level Rd. in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the only licensed gaming facility in the state. The 85,000 square foot, $65 million-dollar facility features over 1,200 historical racing machines, with 70+ themes, on the 45,000 square foot gaming and entertainment floor.
