Wyoming Downs - one of Wyoming’s top destinations for sports and entertainment, is the largest and only privately-owned horse-racing venue in the state. We are located just 10 miles north of Evanston on Highway 89. Our racetrack combines thrilling live racing with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere – honoring one of the state’s richest and longest-standing sporting traditions. We feature year-round racing wagering technology with 14 convenient facilities across the state.

Wyoming Downs and 307 Horse Racing broke ground on an $80 million gaming facility near the Colorado border, part of a broader $180 million investment that includes statewide property upgrades and track enhancements. The 58 thousand square foot facility, planned to open spring 2027, will feature 600 historic horse racing machines, simulcast betting and a "stadium-style bar" complete with one of the largest TV walls in Wyoming.
