JOB DUTIES
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the security and integrity of all games, and to protect the company’s assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Protect the company’s property and assets.
- Perform all surveillance related duties for the casino and property.
- Supervise, schedule and train surveillance observers.
- Surveillance observation of sensitive areas.
- Provide closed circuit television monitoring for all money drops and collections.
- Operate the closed circuit television monitoring system.
- Casino floor games protection.
- Write complete and accurate reports.
- Perform any reasonable request made by management.
- Meet attendance requirements of the job and adhere to policy and procedure.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and reasonable manner.
- Maintain proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises all Surveillance Operators and Techs.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous casino surveillance experience required.
- Must have detailed knowledge of closed circuit television monitoring systems and operation as well as knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to gaming and alcohol.
- Must present a well groomed professional appearance and attitude.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and have proficient writing, grammar and punctuation skills.
- Must be computer literate in a variety of computer programs.
- Must have a friendly, outgoing personality.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be able to obtain a Level I Missouri Gaming License
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
