Summary
Responsible for controlling and analyzing all inventory levels throughout the Food and Beverage departments in the Casino.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for data entry of all transfers of Food and Beverage, production items, and waste/loss in EATEC/inventory system
- Knowledge of all functions of the EATEC/inventory system, including transfers In and Out, receiving, purchasing, cost of sales, catering and production.
- Work closely with food and beverage, purchasing, receiving, and accounts payable areas
- Identify inventory procedure deficiencies and suggests, trains and implements improved procedures.
- Coordinates improved working practices between departments.
- Acts as liaison between the Food & Beverage and Accounting departments.
- Assists co-workers where and when needed.
- Possess the ability to proficiently complete all tasks in a timely manner.
- Prepares back-up information for all transfers In and Out of each Inventory Warehouse
- Reviews departmental reports, addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation
- Facilitates the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings
- Held accountable, to a very high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of inventory levels
- Auditing and correcting inventory discrepancies within the system to ensure accurate month-end inventory counts.
- Required to oversee end on month inventory including weekends and holidays where required.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must maintain a current State certification and/or Chitimacha gaming license as required by the position.

Required to know and understand Eatec/Inventory System.
