The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a full-time Training Coordinator to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all team members at Grand Canyon National Park complete their required job-related training. You will be part of the important journey by encouraging and motivating team members to continuously develop their skills.

Pay

$18.00 – $19.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Create and implement training programs for Delaware North team members and schedule training sessions, assessing the effectiveness of training by evaluating associate performance
  • Maintain all training records, including creating and storing attendance sheets
  • Prepare and distribute training material for the relevant sessions
  • Create training activity reports and share them with managers
  • Responsible for orientation for new employees
  • Implement and support employee wellness activities program
  • Create Employee Monthly Newsletter

More about you

  • Previous experience as a training coordinator or equivalent role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Visual acuity to use computer
