Responsibilities: Responsible for all operations, technical, and administrative duties of the Slots, Tables, and Sportsbook departments, developing and structuring the department operational goals and objectives, recommending Slot and Table Games offerings and prize payment structures, establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures and job instructions as necessary to ensure compliance with the goals and objectives, providing a courteous, accurate, and reliable operation, preparing annual departmental budgets and strategic plans, preparing and reviewing reports on Slot and Table performance, revenue projections, and strategic goal progress, reviewing the Department Managers' work assignment schedules and leave requests, presenting to the Board of Directors (BOD) as required, executing the annual performance evaluations of assigned personnel, recommending hiring, termination, promotion, and disciplinary actions to the Department Managers and Human Resources Manager, coaching and working with Department Managers to help them perform accurately and efficiently and to provide superior guest service, conducting one-on-one meetings/working sessions with Department Managers, enabling Department Managers to run their departments with support when necessary, and adhering to Title 31 procedures.
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must have ten (10) or more years of experience managing gaming operations with direct experience managing Table Games, Slots, or both. Must be able to obtain all required Licenses for employment, including Tribal and State Gaming Licenses. Must have previous experience with some or all of the following: casino accounting software, currency note counting machines (soft count), PC software (MS Office), and casino systems software. Must have comprehensive, current experience with microcomputer software facilities, including support of all normal office/administrative use functions. Must have solid written and verbal communication skills. Must be dependable, mature individual. Must have reliable, accurate attention to detail. Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Requirements: Prefer Tribal Gaming experience. Prefer bachelor's or master's degree in business or related field. Prefer knowledge of Synkros Casino Management System. Prefer five (5) or more years of casino industry experience as a director or higher. Prefer familiarity with Arizona casino regulations.
Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $71,305-$94,835. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment. Open until filled.
