Delaware North is hiring a full-time Lead Compensation Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Lead Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $79,900 – $107,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Maintain and update compensation data in Workday, ensuring accuracy across job architecture and pay structures 
  • Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and market analyses to support benchmarking and informed decision-making 
  • Conduct job evaluations, recommend salary ranges, and lead annual merit and incentive compensation processes 
  • Collaborate with HRIS and Payroll teams to implement system updates and ensure compliance with policies, FLSA classifications, and pay equity standards 
  • Provide guidance to HR partners and managers on compensation inquiries while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience 

More about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or a related field required; MBA preferred 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related field required 
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas, and experience with Workday is strongly preferred 
  • Strong experience with incentive plans and merit cycles
  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools and job evaluation methodologies 
  • Certified Compensation Professional or SPHR designation is preferred 
  • Candidate must reside in the Buffalo, NY area; relocation assistance may be available
