Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Operations Manager to join our team at Kalaloch Lodge in Forks, Washington. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of lodge operations, ensuring a consistently excellent guest experience, strong financial performance, and efficient use of resources. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $77,969 – $92,200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Lead daily operations across Rooms, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Retail, serving as Manager-on-Duty and primary support to the General Manager 
  • Drive guest satisfaction through service standards, issue resolution, and service recovery while ensuring cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance 
  • Coach and develop department leaders, execute staffing plans, and manage labor controls to meet business demands 
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, food sanitation, and National Park Service requirements 
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities, support sustainability initiatives, and assist with employee relations and housing 
  • Ability to drive company vehicles as needed to support operations

More about you

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel, lodge, resort, or hospitality operations required 
  • Experience in remote, seasonal, or national park and lodge environments strongly preferred 
  • Multi-department oversight experience strongly preferred 
  • Solid financial acumen, including understanding of labor management, cost control, and revenue drivers 
  • Proficient with common hotel and point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to work on-site at Kalaloch Lodge in a remote coastal environment with varying weather 
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal period
