Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all technology systems at Rain Rock Casino Resort Hotel and related enterprises, including gaming systems, hotel property management, surveillance integration, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT infrastructure. This role ensures compliance with gaming regulations, protects sensitive data, and provides reliable, secure technology services that support operations across the casino, hotel, and administration.
The IT Manager will build and manage the casino’s IT team, work closely with the Tribal Gaming Commission, and partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Systems Management & Operations
- Oversee installation, configuration, and ongoing management of core casino IT systems: slot systems, table game systems, player tracking, Title 31 compliance software, PMS, and POS.
- Manage Casino Gaming and Corporate networking, hotel property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale, phone, Wi-Fi networks, Hotel/Casino entertainment, and Audio/Visual systems.
- Maintain servers, networks, backups, and data security infrastructure.
- Ensure uptime, security, and performance of all IT systems.
Regulatory & Security Compliance
- Ensure all IT systems comply with Tribal, state, and federal gaming regulations.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protections, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls.
- Coordinate with Tribal Gaming Commission and auditors on system access, logs, and compliance checks.
- Oversee secure handling of financial, customer, and employee data.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead an internal IT team; manage vendors, contractors, and system integrators.
- Provide IT training and support for staff, ensuring effective use of systems.
- Develop policies and procedures for IT operations, security, and disaster recovery.
Strategic Planning
- Partner with GM and executive team on long-term IT strategy and budgeting.
- Evaluate and recommend new technology to improve efficiency, security, and guest service.
- Support future expansion, including hotel systems integration, mobile app development, and cashless gaming readiness.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNA preferred).
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
- Experience in casino, gaming, or hospitality IT strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in tribal gaming (Title 31, NIGC standards).
- Strong leadership, project management, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and leadership.
