Summary

The Revenue Audit Supervisor is responsible for the daily revenue and compliance audit process including supervision of auditors. The Revenue Audit Supervisor ensures all gaming and non-gaming audits are completed timely and accurately; all instances of non-compliance with internal controls are documented and communicated to the appropriate management and regulatory personnel. Assists Revenue Audit Manager with all month end duties to ensure completion within established timeframe.       

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise all functions pertaining to revenue and cage accounting.
• Provide training to audit staff on new and revised audit procedures. Communicate any changes or updates both in writing and verbally and follow up to verify changes have been understood and properly applied.
• Review audit spreadsheets for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.  
• Provide corrective feedback to audit staff and follow up to verify that corrective action has occurred.
• Prepare journal entries to record revenues and changes in cage, table game, ATM, and ticket redemption kiosk accountability.
• Maintain audit spreadsheets, submitting proposed changes to the Revenue Audit Manager and Controller for approval.
• Perform revenue and cage audits, as needed. 
• Serve as support to Compliance & Risk regulations monitoring and reporting in accordance with Title 31 Compliance Program, Federal Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering regulations and Federal Tax Rules and regulation.

Additional Duties

• Promote positive public and employee relations through efficient, courteous, and professional services.
• Assist in answering auditing and revenue accounting procedural questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and gaming regulations.
• Assist in evaluating and proposing updates to revenue audit policies, procedures, and reporting systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with all necessary policies and controls.
• Assist in preparation for both internal and external audits. Cooperate with internal and external audits to provide requested information and follow up.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or closely related field.
• OR associate degree and three years’ experience in a gaming environment can be used to meet education requirement.
• Experience in a casino revenue audit capacity preferred.
• One year’s supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience with slot accounting systems preferred.
• Casino and/or hospitality industry experience preferred.                   
• Must be able to pass a background check.
