The Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians is a federally recognized tribe of Eastern Pomo people in Lake County, CA. It is self-governed and works to preserve its culture, assert tribal sovereignity, and improve the livelihood of its members.

The tribe is the original inhabitant of the Clearlake and volcanic Mount Konocti area, which is central to their heritage. Economically, the tribe is known for operating the Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino and other businesses like a smoke shop and fueling station.

The Tribal Council which leads the tribe and promotes its mission, is comprised of six members, elected by the members. The tribe officially organized its government in 1978 and adopted its constitution in 1980. Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino is a primary source of economic development for the tribe, located on the north shore of Clearlake. The tribe also operates a 24/7 fueling station and a smoke shop.

The tribe is involved in workforce development programs, such as those for wildland firefighting and forestry careers, through partnerships like the Tribal Eco-Restoration Alliance (TERA) and through it’s Citizens Business Council has received federal grants to support tribal climate resilience planning to understand and address climate change impacts on the community, ecosystems, and infrastructure.
