Morongo Band of Mission Indians

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians Reservation is set at the foot of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, and spans more than 35,000 acres and overlooks the vistas of the Banning Pass.

The Tribe is continually seeking to diversify its interests, both in and out of the gaming arena. In addition to its AAA Four Diamond Resort, the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, Morongo also runs the 36-pump Morongo Travel Center, local legend Hadley Fruit Orchards, and the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon.

Additionally, the Tribe has agreements with Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water, who operates a bottling plant on the Morongo Reservation, and Ruby's Diner. Morongo opened the first Coco's restaurant ever owned by an American Indian tribe.  The tribe then acquired Hadley Fruit Orchards' three retail stores including the company's mail order and franchise rights. The Morongo Gold Club at Tukwet Canyon offers 36 world-class holes, state of the art practice facilities, outstanding amenities along with personalized customer service.

In most recent years the Tribe saw the opening and operation of a $26 million Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water bottling plant. Morongo has become the largest private sector employer in the Banning-Beaumont region and is a major contributor to the San Gorgonio Pass economy.

The Tribe now employs more than 3,000 people, with more than two thirds of the Morongo workforce composed of residents from the San Gorgonio Pass.
