Summary:
Responsible for coordinating with the General Manager and outside agencies for advertising and promotions of the Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Develops, executes and monitors strategic marketing plans, both short and long term, to achieve revenue, profitability and market share objectives.
- Analyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
- Prepares content and coordinates to develop creative design communications and collateral.
- Provides technical and organizational oversight for all promotional activities including developing offers and events; executing targeted outreach to retain and grow market share.
- Manages the Players Club to ensure the promotions are effective and in line with the overall strategy.
- Works with the General Manager and Advertising Agency
- Develops ideas and opportunities for advertising, promotions and public relations activities that promote the Casino.
- Prepares pre and post-forma on all relevant initiatives, reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of all media programs.
- Responsible for preparing and monitoring analytics on segmentation and player worth.
- Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting on key metrics.
- Meet regularly with the management team to communicate business trends, results, analytical data and future initiatives.
- Conducts Marketing Meetings - weekly /monthly or when necessary.
- Prepares Marketing and promotions 60 – 90 days in advance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Art/Creative
Coordinate all on-property design, including but not limited to, conceptualization, coordination, implementation of promotional posters and flyers, newsletter, indoor and outdoor signage placement, replacement and installation, brochures, advertisements, business supplies, assist with web page design, coordination of photo shoots for special projects. Assist with the graphic design of promotional materials and casino advertisements. Create promotional giveaways as needed.
Special Relations
Coordinate visits by vendors, VIP guests, Tribal Council Members, and media. Manage special communications with other departments. Assists other employees in computer graphics and design work. Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, color, and packaging, etc. Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, working with developers, and advertisers to market products/services. Able to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, and other external sources.
Administrative
Purchase orders, budget allocation, budgeting, ordering status, vendor contact, etc. Work with advertising agency, printers, direct mail companies, and media outlets. Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost. Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience in Casino marketing and/or Managing Promotions and Player’s Club or equivalent combination of experience and education.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
