As a Steward, you will be responsible for receiving all food, beverage, and kitchen supply deliveries. What will you do?

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and safe receipt of all incoming inventory while coordinating with purchasing, culinary, and operations teams to align deliveries with needs and par levels
  • Verify invoices, inspect deliveries for quality or damage, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain strong inventory control through proper labeling, rotation, and storage
  • Conduct regular inventory reporting and maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of receiving areas, storage rooms, refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen spaces
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations while monitoring and enforcing proper cleaning schedules for equipment, shelving, waste areas, and walk‑ins
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership and procurement to forecast needs, support cost‑control efforts, and reduce waste
  • Assist with workflow and process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational performance

More about you

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in receiving, purchasing, warehouse, or inventory control capacity
  • Experience with Asian products and cuisine preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic math, data-entry, and computer skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach
