What will you do?

• Clean, by hand or machine: dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards. 
• Comply with food preparation standards by adhering to specified portion sizes and quality benchmarks. 
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet. 
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organized .
• Remove trash, recycle, and compost from the dish room and transport it to the correct dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans. 
• Receive and check deliveries for quantity and quality. 
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory. 
• Perform other duties assigned.

More about you

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
• Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to place items above and below head height
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Exposed to variable temperatures
