The Opportunity 

TD Garden and the Boston Bruins are looking for a Digital Communications Senior Manager to manage the digital communication strategy for TD Garden and Boston Bruins client communities (Season Ticket Holder, Boston Garden Society), and non-clients in collaboration with Business Strategy, Sales, Service, Corporate Partnerships, and Marketing teams to achieve business goals through email, SMS, and other digital communication channels.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $89900 - $121400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities 

  • Lead the email communication strategy for clients, ticket sales, e-commerce, parking, lead generation, retargeting, database growth, and other key business goals through analysis and reporting of existing campaigns, testing of new tactics, and learning.
  • Compile and analyze digital communication and provide key reporting to effectively inform internal stakeholders and maximize campaign performance, while being an early adopter of emerging email marketing tactics and content development for the organization.
  • Effectively manage a team of SME’s, delegating email requests to builders to meet target send dates.
  • Build and deploy email and SMS marketing campaigns in SFMC, including the QC of all campaigns to validate creative content, links, and copy.
  • Work with internal groups on segmentation, timing, and short- and long-term planning initiatives for seasonal (renewals and on-sales, etc.,) game-based campaigns, and event communication.
  • Understands email automations and multi-touch journeys as digital communication solutions.
  • Effectively project manage all campaigns to ensure meeting target send dates.
  • Ideate and implement testing to enhance email performance.
  • Work with Sales, Service, and Marketing departments to develop new and unique ways to deliver content through our current email tactics and through new emerging email marketing tactics.
  • Work with all organization groups to ensure consistent messaging across all brands.
  • Contribute to list segmentation strategy to improve targeting and analyze performance of segments.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM and/or Digital Marketing.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written within all levels of the organization. Must be personable, yet persistent.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of SME’s.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and ability to use it to build and edit emails.
  • Solution oriented with the ability to develop a recovery plan and communication out to stakeholders when needed.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage many projects at once, while working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud email platform required.
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM, and email regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Tableau.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeve and assist the digital communications team where needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
