Noo-Kayet Investments (NKI), the economic development arm of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our people strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll guide HR operations across a diverse and growing portfolio that includes The Point Casino & Hotel, food distribution, retail, fuel operations, cannabis, and commercial real estate.

What You’ll Do

• Lead recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
• Develop strategies that strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational success.
• Coach and inspire a high-performing HR team.
• Advance Tribal Member employment and professional-development opportunities.
• Lead succession planning and workforce integration for new enterprises.
• Partner with executive leadership, the NKI Board, Tribal Government, and regulatory agencies.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of HR management experience.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License.

A graduate degree, THRP certification, and experience working with Tribal communities or enterprises are preferred.
