Summary:

Perform a variety of computer operations. Monitor console control panels and makes procedural and/or operational corrections as necessary.  Provides on call support and manages development projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Operate and monitor mainframe and mid-range computer and peripheral equipment to include modems, printers, tape and disk drives, servers, PCs.
• Monitor network monitor panel for faults or problems.
• Provide recommendations on company technology purchases.
• Document computer problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Remove and distribute computer equipment and output.
• Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department to resolve issues.
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience utilizing the fundamentals of typical computer systems, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Ability toread and apply technical manuals.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computing and network hardware and peripheral equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of computing software and domain network operation, implementation, and security.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Work with users requires interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.

• Certification required through Arizona Department of Gaming 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment Conditions:

The work environment is characterized as an office setting, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The immediate work environment is smoke free; however, a smoking environment does exist in the building.
