The Bingo Manager is responsible for successful operation of all Bingo sessions including management of the day-to-day operations, supervision and evaluation of all Bingo Team Members, and the design and promotion of the Bingo games and payouts. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. 

Essential Functions:

• Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
• Design Bingo sessions to maximize guest headcounts and profitability.
• Coordinate marketing and promotion efforts to drive guest headcounts.
• Conduct market research to evaluate the Bingo department’s competitive effectiveness.
• Perform opening functions that include verifying each station is stocked with paper for sale, the computer is set for operation, the bingo balls are verified and the paperwork is prepared for the shifts.
• Reconcile each selling and cash station in order to verify that the funds are consistent with paper sales and winners paid. Countersign the cash inventory forms and any notes variances.
• Prepare orders for fills and credits, and is responsible for funds received or turned in.
• Verify each station beginning paper inventory number prior to the start time of sales. Record each station ending inventory numbers by recording the number of the last papers sold.
• Perform cashing/payout functions to the appropriate floor persons.
• Implement the departmental policies and procedures.
• Assign Team Members during the shift to include station assignments and calling assignments while ensuring that the department operates efficiently during the assigned shift.
• Respond to Guest opportunities as they arise in a timely manner.
• Prepare all paperwork that calculates the appropriate shift statistical results.
• Be responsible for successful management of the Bingo Team Members including, but not limited to, hiring, evaluations, discipline and discharge.
• Safeguard company assets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous bingo experience.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Knowledge of money handling.
• Ability to understand and comply with all company and department policies and procedures.
• Ability to display friendly, courteous, polite behavior with a positive attitude. High school education or equivalent preferred. Previous bingo experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License. 

Work Conditions:

• Work is primarily conducted in and around the casino, which may be hot, cold, noisy, and in the presence of secondhand smoke.
• Work will also be performed in an office with a 3 ft. wide access.
• Tasks may be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position.
• Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
• These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
• Frequent contact with fellow Team Members and Guests is standard.
• Work hours and days may be revised as company needs and workplace circumstances dictate.
