JOB PURPOSE
Plans and organizes marketing campaigns including direct mail, broadcast media, print, outdoor, entertainment, promotions, and other relevant marketing functions. Analyzes and evaluates customer data to determine the results of campaigns, promotions, and events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Understand all marketing positions, promotions, direct mail campaigns, outdoor, and media campaigns other related special events; can relay directions, details, and explanations to employees and patrons.
- Manages the Marketing Department which includes the Players Club, Marketing Coordinators, and Social Media Coordinator.
- Creates and organizes the overall media strategy, promotional strategy, special events, entertainment, direct mail campaigns, and all other relevant marketing aspects for the centralized marketing program.
- Creates and develops the overall development and management of marketing strategic plans, tactics, and budget.
- Facilitates creative artwork and copy for, but not limited to: print, broadcast media (TV and radio), outdoor, and other media avenues.
- The leadership role in the development, management, and overall coordination of all promotions, programs, and special events.
- Communicates and implements promotional programs and campaigns; evaluates and analyzes special events and promotions.
- Understands and promotes the benefits and significance of Premier Rewards, and can relay the information to employees and patrons.
- Resolve inquiries and complaints raised by the marketing teams.
- Monitor, research, predict, and assess performance and provide feedback on effectiveness of direct mail campaigns, player programs, on and off-property promotions, and all media (broadcast, print, outdoor). Discovery elements will include incremental/decrement impact, trends, potential increase for spend, and improved performance opportunities.
- Provides an overall leadership role for superior internal and external guest service.
- Develops and coordinates standard and/or custom reports as required.
- Promotes positive customer relations.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
- Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned by General Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree required and 4 – 6 years of training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to work as directed by General Manager, which may result in being scheduled anytime during a 24 hour period, 365 days a year.
- Basic computer skills, Internet Explorer, Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Work, Excel), Adobe Photoshop and Firework experience preferred.
- Ability to understand issues from another employee’s perspective. Personally and professionally provides excellent customer service.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and guests.
- Must have a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress environment.
- Must be able to work in areas containing high noise levels, secondary smoke and blinking lights.

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
LICENSING
Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50lbs in emergency situations.
- Ability to function in a smoking environment.
- Employee smoking is restricted to outside location and during break times.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise levels in the work environment are constant.
- Ascend/descend flights of stairs to access office and break areas throughout work day.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for entirety of shift as required to conduct normal assigned duties.
- Efficiently function in an environment with blinking/blinding lights.
