Mohegan Pennsylvania

Wilkes Barre, PA

Mohegan Pennsylvania, owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut, was the first property to bring gaming to the state in 2006, and has become one of the premier entertainment, gaming, shopping and dining destinations.

It is located on 400 acres in Plains Township, PA and it features a 237-room hotel with an on-site spa and an adjacent 20,000-square-foot Convention Center. The 67,000 square feet of gaming space includes nearly 60 live table games, and more than 1,700 slot machines and electronic table games.

Mohegan Sun Pocono features 19 restaurants and bars which include casual eateries, sophisticated steakhouses, trendy bars, and even ice cream shops.

Food and beverage venues include Ruth's Chris Steak House, Pacer's Clubhouse Restaurant, Pearl Sushi Bar, Rustic Kitchen, Starting Gate Bar, Sunburst Bar, The Terrace, Timbers Buffet, Bar Louie, Ben & Jerry's, Betty & Joe's, Breakers Elixir Bistro Bar, Johnny Rocket's, M Bar, Wetzel's Pretzels, Winner's Circle Eatery, Wok8, and Wolfgang Puck Express.

The property originally named Mohegan Sun Pocono was recently rebranded as Mohegan Pennsylvania.

The refreshed name change follows the roll-out of Project Starlight, which includes a $10 million hotel renovation and the addition a new seasonal outdoor terrace bar, Embers Terrace, and the Hive Taphouse, a bar with a full dining menu, which features live music and flat screens for sports games. It is also home to Topgolf Swing Suites, where guests can play virtual golf on PGA courses.
