Under the direction of the Manager, Wardrobe, the Attire Specialist is responsible for inventorying, fitting, issuing, and ordering clothing and accessories in the Wardrobe Department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1.    Updates shipments with accurate purchase order (PO) numbers. Ships reconciliations and submits sales reports to payroll for additional accessories. Adds UPC barcodes to garments (Style Descriptions) and personal information, which includes phone numbers, department, fitting details, etc., into inventory management system (Invotech).
2.    Follows stringent federal requirements as it relates to Department of Public Safety (DPS)/Fire Department uniforms with precise knowledge to include different hazmat garments.
3.    Audits termination lists which includes confidential employee information such as name, employee ID number, termination date, department and position. Audits the No Longer Employed (NLE) file every 30 days for compliance. Verifies the $50 dollar decision trees process to release deposit for garments (former employee has 30 days to return garments for deposits).
4.    Administers the personnel dry-cleaning program for: Tribal Members, Executives and Employees.
5.    Provides excellent customer service skills at all times and addresses team members’ needs courteously, promptly, and answering telephone calls professionally.
6.    Performs fittings for team member uniforms, including but not limited to, marking hems and sleeves to ensure a proper fitting uniform in accordance with enterprise standards.
7.    Manages the database for the appointment application (App) for exchanges, transfers, repairs, etc. Utilizes the appointment app to book, cancel and reschedule appointments.
8.    Assists with New Employee Orientation (NEO) celebration period, by gathering garments and accessories, making name badges and placing them in garment bags for NEO pickup. Captures signatures for $50 garment deposit.
9.    Provides directions for uniform care and addresses team member questions.
10.    Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

  • Minimum two (2) years’ of related experience in a customer service, dry cleaning or retail environment required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (Ksa)

  • Basic Sewing and Alterations experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word and Excel), Database software, Internet software, Inventory software and Order processing systems required.

Licenses, Certifications And Registrations

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

  • No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.

  • Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting.

  • Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.

  • Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

  • Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.

  • Sedentary work: involves sitting most of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • Physical activities that apply to the essential functions of the position are balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

  • Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone.

  • Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone.

  • Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility.

  • Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.

  • Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.

  • The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.
