Position Summary

Under general direction of the Training Manager, conducts Enterprise/Property specific training programs. Monitors and maintains databases, providing statistical reports on the effectiveness of training for employees during the orientation period and for career development. Assists in the identification and design of learning solutions to meet individual, department and casino property training needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; or Associate degree and nationally recognized trainer/instructional designer certification (i.e. Langevin, ASTD). Must have a minimum of three (3) years training and development experience in a corporate work setting with training as your primary role. E-learning design using authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, etc. a plus. Gaming experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Verbal and written fluency in the Navajo language highly desirable. Must be willing to travel up to 50% (includes overnight travel out of state up to 3 days at a time). No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a preemployment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.

Fire Rock Casino in Church Rock Chapter, (near Gallup, NM) opened November 2008 and has more than 900 slots, a 300 seat Bingo Hall and 8 table games (blackjack, and poker). In addition, the facility has a full service Cheii Grill and Bar, and Food Court.
