Position Summary 

Under general direction of the General Manager, the Director of Travel Plaza Operations accomplishes the Travel Plaza department objectives by planning, organizing and directing all functions required to ensure the Travel Plaza, Food and Beverage operations and the Slot operations are executed in a cost effective and profitable manner for assigned Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise property. Ensures compliance with established laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field plus five (5) years General Management experience in Travel Plaza to include full-service Food & Beverage operations.  Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.  Valid driver’s license.  No felony, theft or stealing convictions.   Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.  Navajo preference.
