Summary
Performs the overall personnel and operational management of assigned Table Games pits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Enforces all company and departmental policies and procedures within assigned pits.
- Safeguards casino assets.
- Monitors, directs, and supervises Casino Floor Supervisors and Dealers, observes table action in assigned pits, and recommends the issuance of any Dealer or Casino Floor Supervisor early-out or overtime.
- Changes cards, cubes, and tiles at tables and inspects for any irregularities.
- Ensures the cards, cubes, and tiles inventory for the assigned pit is accurate at start and end of shift and after every replacement.
- Oversees table closures, openings, fills, and credits.
- Oversees table inventory count procedures at shift change.
- Performs close-of-day inventory count with Assistant Shift Manager or Table Games Shift Manager.
- Retrieves, transports, and secures all marker issuance/marker payment slips within assigned pits.
- Submits at the end of respective shift all reports deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the Table Games Department.
- Arbitrates customer disputes arising from table play if Casino Floor Supervisor cannot and escalates to Assistant Shift Manager or Table Games Shift manager as needed.
- Monitors game activity and player activity through the course of the shift and reports as requested to Assistant Shift Manager or Table Games Shift Manager.
- Provides input to Assistant Shift Manager or Table Games Shift Manager as to when games should be opened or closed.
- Monitors table limits and increase or decrease betting limits on any table game in assigned pit.
- Disciplines or commends, either verbally or in writing, subordinate table games employees during the shift.
- Advises and/or reviews all employee documentation produced by any table games employee on the shift.
- Acts as the initial liaison between the Table Games Department and all other departments on the shift.
- Acts as the initial liaison between the property and any customer on shift.
- Recommends and assists with removal from the premises any player who violates the code of conduct during the shift.
- Recommends the suspension of any table games subordinate for violating a policy or procedure during the shift.
- Performs all computer functions necessary for the smooth operation of the department during the shift.
- Regularly reports any recommendations or observations that will facilitate the successful operation of the shift or the property.
- Communicates with Surveillance and reviews coverage over any gaming related issue.
- Issues dining comps to qualified guests based on approved comping guidelines and policies.
- Completes necessary documents and payout of any table game “progressive” jackpot.
- Ensures compliance with all Title 31 and I.R.S. reporting requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Shft Manager or Table Games Shift Manager or engage in duties that are generally encompassed under the job description or that of supervisors or dealers.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises Casino Floor Supervisors and Dealers in the Table Games department during respective shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws to include training employees, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, and addressing complaints and disciplinary problems.

Education and/or Experience
Five years related experience and/or training.

Language Skills
Ability to read, interpret and analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
