The Limousine Driver meets and greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner, creating and maintaining a positive public image as an initial point of contact. The Limousine Driver safely transports guests to and from San Manuel Casino and other assigned enterprise facilities. They routinely inspect and log defects detected in enterprise limousines and vehicle fleet utilized; complying with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The Limousine Driver additionally provides airport/hotel/casino pick-up and drop-off service for hotel guests, performers and dignitaries as requested, all while championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that reflects and upholds the Tribal Community’s vision, mission and values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Safely transports hotel guests to and from the San Manuel Hotel, Casino, and other assigned facilities in a timely manner. Assists leadership by driving enterprise vehicles to and from airports and hotels, vehicle repair shops, gas stations for refueling, and special events. Provides best in class service by greeting guests as they arrive or depart the Casino. Adheres to all California DMV and DOT laws and regulations regarding the safe and legal operation of a commercial vehicle. Maintains compliance with all health and safety regulations. Maintains a professional appearance and proper grooming at all times.
2. Completes pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections of limousine or shuttle fleet daily, advising leadership of any defects in order to safely operate the vehicle (fill all fluids to proper levels). Completes and turns in all original copies of DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection sheets at the end of every shift. Signs in/out vehicle keys daily. Provides leadership with accurate and up-to-date information regarding vehicle repairs, vehicle supplies, and any guest/team member concerns or injuries. Attends monthly safety meetings and quarterly departmental meetings.
3. Maintains a neat and clean work environment. Duties include, but not limited to, light sweeping of vehicles, spill cleanup, and wiping of windshields and mirrors. Ensures limousines are properly stocked with refreshments and other amenities.
4. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Mandatory 2 years driving experience.
Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience is desired, but not required.
Must have a general knowledge of vehicle parts and vehicle operation in order to diagnose any mechanical issues or failures.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
A qualified candidate/employee must have and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the enterprises insurance carrier.
Must maintain a valid California Commercial Drivers License (Class C or higher with the Passenger Endorsement).
Must maintain a valid California DMV Drivers Medical Certificate.
