SUMMARY:
The Receiving Coordinator provides assistance and support to the Warehouse / Receiving Division of the Finance Department; and indirectly provides assistance and support to the Accounts Payable and Purchasing Divisions of the Finance Department.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
 
* Maintains shipping, receiving and other related accounting records in either paper or electronic format in the Warehouse / Receiving Department.
* Compiles and sorts documents such as Bill of Ladings, Packing Slips, Vendor Orders, Purchase Orders or other documents that substantiate the purchase, delivery, receipt and internal distribution of goods.
* Enters information into retention/retrieval system in a logical, timely and organized manner.
* Identifies missing and/or incorrect information in receiving documents and conducts the necessary research to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate processing of information.
* Creates spreadsheets, logs or other forms to facilitate the accurate tracking of shipping and receiving records and information.
* Meets daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
* Works in a professional manner at all times with Receiving, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and other departments to ensure the accurate and timely processing of receiving documentation.
* Responds to inquiries regarding shipping or receiving documents.
* Maintains inventory records of on-site and off-site warehouses.
* Coordinates with other departments for the periodic removal/destruction of obsolete inventory.

Requirements

GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One year financial/accounting experience or administrative experience preferred.
 
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess superior communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate in Microsoft Excel and Word or related software. Oracle Business Suite or other purchasing/receiving software experience strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written skills preferred. Ability to do repetitive work. Must be able to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with multiple departments. Ability to organize a variety of business transactions and understand the flow of information within the casino.
 
This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, shipping and receiving documents, and other related documents. Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
 
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.

Four Winds South Bend, located in South Bend, IN, is scheduled to be complete in early 2018.  The first phase of the 175,000 square ft. gaming facility will include a casino, four restaurants, a player's lounge, coffee shop, bars, retail outlets and a parking garage.
