• Director Accounting - Tribal Government (Finance/Accounting)

  Under the director of the Vice-President of Finance Tribal Government, this position is responsible for directing and overseeing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Operations, and Purchasing operations activities and initiatives. Responsible for establishing appropriate policies, procedures and controls of the Tribal Government to be consistent with General Accepted Accounting Principles, other regulatory/advisory organizations and the Tribal Minimal Internal Control Standards.   The GIS Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding the Tribe's enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) programs. This position serves as the Tribe's primary geospatial professional; providing mapping, spatial analysis, database administration, web GIS development, drone data acquisition, and geospatial decision-support services for Tribal government departments, enterprises, planning initiatives, infrastructure projects, public safety operations, emergency management, natural resources, and environmental programs.
