Job Overview: Assists manager in overseeing the daily activities of valet and shuttle bus operations to ensure the highest quality of guest service, in accordance with department and company policies and procedures. Ensures that vehicles are parked and returned to guests efficiently and without damage or theft to guest property.

- Assigns tasks and disseminates pertinent information to supervisors.

Handles and resolves guest and team member concerns and complaints through proper channels.
- Monitors valet activities to ensure that security procedures are followed.
- Analyzes and recommends staffing levels based on business needs. Oversees scheduling.

Analyzes traffic conditions in valet operational areas and recommends improvements or revisions of procedures to promote effectiveness.

Hires and trains department team members. Conducts performance appraisals on direct reports. Reviews performance appraisals for indirect reports.

Prepares or reviews reports pertaining to team member performance, i.e., attendance, accidents, variances, damage, and thefts, and recommends disciplinary action. Maintains necessary documentation in personnel files.
- Reviews and edits weekly payroll for valet and shuttle team members.

Required Experience:

Any combination of post-high school education and/or supervisory experience in transportation to equal three years.
- Valid Class B (CDL) driver’s license and good driving record required (Or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Basic word processing and spreadsheet computer software skills.
