Remuneración: Starting at $22.12 per hour

Position Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Bingo Room to include the Bingo Caller Area and the Bingo Console. Directly Supervises Bingo personnel all while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all the Isleta Resort and Casino employees & guests.

All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. Game/Room Management:

  • Maintains awareness of all Issue Room and Admission selling stations, Bingo Floor Area and Bingo Caller Area; oversees all personnel and player matters
  • Reviews daily and monthly reports to monitor for unusual transactions, shortages and areas that may impact supervised operations. 
  • Reviews all Class II gaming promotions; provides input and suggestions to manager as appropriate
  • Fosters and maintains positive staff/management and player/house relations
  • Maintains appropriate levels of Bingo paper and Bingo Balls in respective issue rooms by periodic requests for Paper and Bingo Balls
  • Performs physical inventory count of Bingo paper, Bingo Selling items on hand daily or as directed or deemed necessary.  Also inventories Electronic Bingo hand held Machines currently being utilized
  • Performs physical inventory count of all Bingo Ball Set(s) (Regular and Bonanza)
  • Responsible for Bingo Electronic Equipment on a daily basis, for example:  

must be able to re-boot Bingo Boards, TV Monitors, Microphones, Bingo Console and Computer Electronic Machines; when needed

  • Share the responsibility with the Bingo Supervisory Staff for the “Break-down” and “Set-up” of all Bingo Electronic Equipment to include: (Bingo Console, Electronic Machine Tables and TV Monitors); for all “Casino Promotional Events”
  • Responsible for the verification of all Bingo Games; when required.
  • Maintains awareness of all Bingo Floor Activity
  • Assures compliance with Tribal, Federal, state and property currency reporting requirements
  • Maintains operation of the Admission Sales Stations (Paper and Electronic)
  • Reviews Bingo Gaming promotions and provides input & suggestions to Bingo Manager and Marketing.

Personnel/Administrative:

  • Monitors staff performance, ensuring adherence to Casino Policies and Procedures
  • Supervises all Bingo Floor Clerks/Callers, Issue/Admissions Sales clerks, Paymaster, Prep Inventory Clerk and performs other duties as necessary.
  • Verifies and signs forms related to all Bingo Issue Clerks issue and return of Bingo paper, and other related Bingo operational items and/or paperwork
  • Occasionally performs other duties as assigned.

Accountability and Supervision:

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training. Employee scheduling, assignments, directing work and appraising performance. Rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent required.
  •    One to three years Bingo related experience or training, required.
  •    Six months previous supervisory experience preferably in Bingo, gaming or related field, required.

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification

  • Must be able to acquire and maintain Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
  • Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to communicate, in writing and verbally, in English and in an effective, informative, and professional manner and be able to convey denials and/or defuse hostile guest situations with ease and tact. Must possess professional speaking voice if required to fill in for caller and/or other Bingo personnel
  • Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity and respect for individuals.
  • Must possess a strong analytical & mathematics background.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematics to include, but is not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to multitask. 
  • Must possess the ability to make sound and well-informed decisions.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft applications and software.
  • Must possess and demonstrate well-developed interpersonal and communication skills while exhibiting motivational, confidence, intelligence, leadership and teamwork characteristics.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds intermittently.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to push 100 lbs. with assistance

Working Conditions:

Smoke filled environment, exposure to various lights and sounds. May, on occasion be required to work outdoors. Occasionally may deal with angry or hostile individuals. Must be on call at all times. May work holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
