Ho-Chunk Nation Gaming Commission
The Ho-Chunk Nation Gaming Commission, located in Black River Falls, WI, is the independent regulatory authority charged with oversight and regulation of the Ho-Chunk Nation's gaming operations. It's primary focus is to ensure regulatory compliance in a fair and consistent manner, while being proactive in the evolution of gaming.
The Commission's responsibility is to shield gaming operations from organized crime and other corrupting influences; ensures the Ho-Chunk Nation is the primary beneficiary of the gaming revenues; and both operators and players conduct gaming fairly and honestly.
The Commission offers regulatory training to licensed employees in conformance with IGRA, any Tribal/State Gaming Compact, and other gaming regulatory controls under the Ho-Chunk Nation's laws. Throughout the jurisdiction of the Ho-Chunk Nation's Lands, the Commission monitors and enforces regulations by administrative law with its delegated authority granted by the Ho-Chunk Nation's Gaming Ordinance.
Their mission is to ensure compliance with the Ho-Chunk Nation Gaming Ordinance, the Ho-Chunk Nation and State of Wisconsin Gaming Compact, the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and all gaming regulations in a manner that is just, ethical and respectful of all and without compromise.
