The Pauma Tribal Gaming Commission is an independent unit of the Tribal Government and is charged with the regulation of Class II and Class III gaming at Casino Pauma. The commission’s regulatory role includes, but is not limited to, performing background investigations on all employees and vendors, performing audits of business transactions to ensure compliance with regulations, conducting investigations of possible violations and resolving patron disputes. The Pauma Gaming Commission networks with outside entities such as the California Department of Justice, the National Indian Gaming Commission, the FBI, local Law Enforcement and Gaming Commission’s nationwide.
The Pauma Tribal Gaming Agency consists of several departments: Surveillance, Licensing, Internal Audit, Compliance, Gaming Agents and Administration.
