VALET DRIVER

SUMMARY

Responsible for safely and effectively parking and retrieving the vehicles of casino patrons.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Parks and retrieves the vehicles of guests.

 

Interacts with guests in a friendly manner.

 

Runs up to 100 yards to retrieve guest vehicles.


Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
AGE REQUIREMENT
Must be at least 21 years of age.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 
Cache Creek Casino Tribal Gaming License and valid California Driver's License
in good standing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and secondhand tobacco smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
