The Cabaret Server provides guests with prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverage.

The Cabaret Server:

• Greet the guests with a friendly expression of acknowledgement and good wishes.
• Accurately take and serve food/beverage orders.
• Enter orders, disperse correct change and/or process credit card/other payment transactions.
• Accurately handle cash including balancing your bank to your sales report.
• Assess, anticipate and accommodate guests' needs.
• Complete knowledge of food service and timing.
• Monitor safe alcohol service to guests and follow procedures for any necessary cut-offs.
• Address guest concerns with immediate resolve.
• Operate and clean all equipment in the server stations, e.g., juice/milk/soda beverage dispensing systems and coffee machines.
• Proficient use of point of sales system (cash register).
• Complete knowledge of menu and beverage selection.
• Complete knowledge of Northern Lights Theater to include shows, specials, promotions and policies.
• Complete knowledge of the casino to include promotions, special events, answering guest inquiries and providing directions.
• Based on business needs, may be required to work at other venues as assigned.
• Keep work areas clean, stocked and looking sharp at all times.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
• Keep up on all assigned side work.
• Ensure full compliance with the department's Internal Controls, policies and procedures.
• Maintain good grooming and uniform standards as outlined in the F&B handbook.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency, preferred.
• Previous guest service experience, preferably restaurant.
• Proficient math skills to include cash handling.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards each guest and fellow employee and make work pleasant and professional.
• Promote and participate in a strong team effort.
• Successfully pass all job required training and tests.
• Requires prolonged periods of being on your feet.
• Requires ability to lift/push/pull light/moderate/heavy items, up to 60 pounds.
• Position dictates working in a fast-paced environment and is subject to irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
