INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A minimum of 2 years working knowledge in marketing management, 2 years experience in a casino marketing department preferred. 2. Proven ability to create and manage successful promotional concepts and special event programs. 3. Must have knowledge of local and regional specialized groups, organizations and centers in order to increase revenue. 4. Must have knowledge of local media and print organizations in order to meet position requirements 5. Must have strong guest service, public relations, and interpersonal skills. 6. Minimum of at least three (3) years supervisory experience. 7. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. 8. Willing to train all casino staff on new programs and attend trainings. 9. Computer literate in Windows, Excel, Word and Microsoft Publisher. 10. Able to pass Title 31 exam. 11. Must be able to work in a Loud and Smoke filled environment. 12. Must hold a valid Driver License. 13. Able to obtain and retain gaming license through the Cahuilla Tribal Gaming Agency. 14. Must be able to complete the 90 day Introductory Period in consecutive days as scheduled. Any job offer is conditional upon successful passing of a pre-employment drug test and must qualify for a Cahuilla Gaming License, which includes an extensive background security check. If none of the applicants should meet the stated qualifications, applicants whose education and experience are less than the stated requirements, may be interviewed and hired provided the applicant hired submits a formal written training plan within (30) thirty days which can be completed within a “reasonable time” agreed upon by the supervisor and the applicant. Applicants who are hired and fail to meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled. A drug test will be required prior to employment and periodically thereafter. NOTE This description incorporates the most typical duties performed.
